    Weller W-60

    The Weller W-60 is an excellent Soldering Iron! I have used one for years and have always been pleased with its performance. Because it is thermostatically controlled it works great for tiny solder connection up to the connections that require serious heat. I prefer a 800 degree tip but you can choose a temperature that works well for you by choosing the appropriate tip. A large variety of tip physical sizes are also available.. Well done Weller Tools!

    Tinsmithing business use

    I've used the Weller W100P2 & 3 irons for years in my Tinsmithing business. I currently have four as I use them also for student use. I needed a smaller iron for some delicate soldering. The W60P3 would be too small for general Tinsmithing, but is perfect for the really small stuff. For my work, I prefer the 700 and 800 degree tips. Great soldering iron as it can be used for a long soldering session without overheating. Jeff
