    This battery soldering I ry on been made the same way for forty years , I had one back then but seems to work

    For a product made the same way for at least forty years, I no I had one back then , the tips are better made now I have a couple of other brand of battery operated soldering Irons , ones a weller brand the battery door took for ever to get off then it wouldnt go back on right, so I bought a wahl the one I had 40 years ago worked pretty good and no one else had a good one for the price.

    WAHL Iso-Tip 7700 Cordless Rechargeable Soldering Iron

    I have used this soldering iron several times for a variety of soldering projects and it has performed admirably. It is convenient in that there is no electric cord to contend with. Even though I have an electric corded soldering station, this is my go-to when I want an expedient and quality solder. As with any soldering iron you must keep the tip tinned to effect the best heat transfer. I am highly satisfied with this purchase.
