    Weller 7135W soldering gun element replacement.

    Fully Pre-tinned replacement copper heating tip for Weller soldering guns and others. Packed 2 to a Weller bag (not blister packed). These are standard replacements which require that the old connection nuts be cut off and slid on to each leg of the new element. The ends of each leg are then bent 90 degrees at approx. 1/4 inch so the element can be turned 90 degrees and inserted into the gun, turned forward and the nuts tightened. Instructions for fitment are no longer included by Weller on the packaging. Notes: 1. Most soldering guns have holes drilled all the way through so the element can be bent either to the left or right and still be oriented correctly...Otherwise make a note to bend the end of the legs of the replacement element in the same direction as those cut off the old ...

    Very Poor Quality

    Not a good replacement. Unless maybe if you plan on using your soldering iron to weld something. I have been using copper Romex wire for years because honestly, I could not afford oem replacements. Then I found these and, well... I could kick myself for not getting them sooner while at the same time patting myself on the back for not. The Large blunt tip limits its use. After maybe 5 min of fighting with the size of it and mutilating the point of solder on my device, I switched back to my trusty copper wire. Simply bend the wire into the same shape as the original tip and insert as you would the original. Heats up faster too

    Easy

    Needed new heating element (tip) for my 50 year old Weller soldering gun. These arrived quickly and fit perfectly (had to make s couple of 90 degree tabs on the end to accommodate the soldering gun fittings but it was very easy to do in my shop vise. Excellent transaction.

    Keep spares on hand

    The Weller soldering tips work great for Weller guns. Remember to put the nuts on before bending the receiving ends. All Weller tips I have used over the years have a use-life. I use the gun weekly and the tips burn out about twice a year, so a person needs to keep a package of spares on hand. New tips work best, as they get tinned, and after long use, they stop working well unless the nuts are again tightened.

    Long Lasting Tips

    I use these Weller soldering tips for my Harbor Freight solder gun they work very well. Harbor Freight tips are round and the Weller tips are square so just a quick file on the corners and it fits great and is very long lasting. Some times you cannot get soldering tips at Harbor Freight they may be out of stock, so the Weller tips are a great substitute.
