Trails and tribulations of a family and loss
This movie’s core is all about the family. It shows how the meal isn’t just food but an binding agent when it comes to the black family. This movie shows the family struggle when the Matriarch of the family falls ill and how the family copes with her absence. This movie will make you laugh ,cry ,sing and rejoice at the same time. Soul food is one of my favorite movies full of engaging characters and scenarios that everyday people go through. I fully recommend it.
