At the time a fugitive from the law, Puss and his sidekicks, anthropomorphic egg Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis) and Puss's female match Kitty Softpaws (Salma Hayek) face off against the evil Jack and Jill, a pair of outlaws, over the legendary magic beans from Jack and the Beanstalk. In this family movie, they seek to recover the beans and clear Puss' name while encountering a wide cast of surprising characters from classic fairy tales in this comical tale. "Puss in Boots" is fun viewing for the whole family ages seven and older. This DVD is rated PG and features a 1.85:1 aspect ratio with English, Spanish, and French subtitles.

    Tying 3 stories into 1

    I like the way that the story of Puss in Boots ties 3 stories together. You have the story of Jack and the Beanstalk, Humpty Dumpty, as well as Puss in Boots. And as they tie them together, they make them fit like a glove. The artwork is captivating and well done. The action moves smoothly from one scene to the next. The characters are amazing and are down to earth realistic. There is always at least one, if not more, that anyone can relate to. There is drama, mystery, romance, and family issues. And underlying, the conflict of right and wrong. I do highly recommend this movie. Parents can use this movie to teach valuable lessons to their children. As my daughter puts it, the movie is awesomeness to the max!
