Basically a piece of 22 gauge steel in the shape of a knife. Bevels are rough. Steel is soft, definitely heat treated, but in the low 50s rockwell c. Came sharped right handed. Cleaning up the bevels was easy because it is so soft. Takes a nice edge but i do not expect it to stay sharp long. All in all pretty much what i expected.
