I bought these to replace batteries on the Wii player. I usually use the recharge type (energizer as well), however my batteries are getting old, Want to see how long these last... This is the first time I have bought batteries this NEW (production date), had them in a couple weeks, controller still fully charged with 2- 7 year old children on them everyday (about an hour a day). As for the price, it was cheaper from me to purchase online, have them shipped to the door in just a couple days rather than fight traffic, lines at the register with the children ( summer time, they are out of school, home with me all day)...Energizer is still a name I trust, which is why I stick with them. Will come back when the controller batteries need replacing to update my review.

Most of the batteries have met expectations. However, about 10% of them are faulty. They loose quality very quickly. Out of the package, most all show full charge, but a small, unexpected number do not hold up. Checking the batteries with a voltmeter, a fully charged battery will have approximately 1.6 volts, but so quickly some will drop below 0.9 volts and become useless. When used as part of a group in a device, the battery failures cause the device to fail. The failures cannot be predicted and are totally unexpected, and very disappointing. Not sure what is actually going on, but the overall quality control is definitely lacking. Compared similar batteries purchased in smaller packages, there have not been any failures, ever! So, if one can tolerate the failures these batteries may be a good deal. But if one can't tolerate the failures, one should find a more reliable battery.Read full review

Since I have not used them yet I really cannot speak to quality nor can I recommend them. However, I purchased them because of the price and the fact that they are Energizer batteries and I have always had good luck with this brand plus there is a 10 year shelf life so what can I lose? It may seem a contradiction from the first sentence but I do recommend them and speak to quality because of the sentence following it.

I started doing serious research on batteries after losing hundreds of dollars worth of products due to leaking batteries & the corrosion they caused. I happened to notice that every time it happened to me it was always with Duracell batteries. I started researching & found that these Energizer Industrial batteries are made in the U.S.A. & had excellent performance reviews. This order puts me at almost 500 that I've bought & I haven't had the first problem with them. They last at least as long as the small packs of the Energizer Power Max batteries that are made outside of the U.S. & I've never had one leak! Folks buy cheap batteries, but if they ever do leak they've just become very expensive. Buy these in large quantities to save some money on a per unit basis, support American jobs & know that you have batteries to rely on when you truly need them! At least that's my experience & I trust them in expensive electronics & flashlights! I trust them because they work & have a very long shelf life!Read full review

All of the batteries I've used so far seem to be as good as any others. I'm just waiting to see if they leak like Duracell. Duracell batteries have leaked and ruined several high quality flashlights, which is why I chose Energizer this time.
