The authentic JVC Taiyo Yuden white watershield printable CD-Rs are made in Japan, and are the best! I ran out of my previous JVC CD-Rs, and hoped that eBay would still have what I wanted at a reasonable price. The last time I ordered them was several years ago. I still occasionally burn albums to discs, mainly for a cousin of mine. The transfer rate is very good, and the sound quality is spectacular. It couldn't get any better. I like the fact as well that I'm easily able to write on the discs with a Sharpie, and make it look good. The best you can get....
I use these to sell CD's at my gigs (I'm a 1-man-band, blues, smooth jazz, rock'n'roll). When I print on these using my Epson R260, the images are crystal clear, glossy with rich color, VERY professional. Always great sound....
