The miracle at Cana: the first performed by our Lord. This CD is the Shapperts first recorded musical collaboration as husband and wife. The reviews have been awesome: 'The lyrics are touching and thoughtful and the music is strong and inspiring'. The tracks include a beautiful song Steve wrote about the death of his Grandmother (Take Your Servant Home), a Southern Rock song (Come Holy Spirit, Come), and a Traditional Christmas song with the help of his daughter (Christmas is here). From ballad to rock, with other styles elsewhere on the musical spectrum, the 9 songs vary in their sonic impression as the music logs the personal spiritual journey of the writer. Steve writes the lyrics and music while Rhonda fronts the music with her lyrical singing style. Steve also invited some guests to perform on the CD to give a harder edge to some songs. Steve has been writing and playing for years. Rhonda is the 2005 Mrs. America Ohio and Mayor of our town in Ohio. She home schools our 3 girls and Choreographs for the High School music and drama departments.
