    Difficult configuration

    This device has a very simple and intuitive interface to configure as a repeater, however the configuration would lead you to believe that the device has paired with its AP, but it hasn't. This makes troubleshooting extremely difficult. Its range is also far less than stated. Unless you live inside of a faraday cage, expect far less then promised.

    Nice 2.4GHz Extender with 4 LAN ports

    This NETGEAR WN2000RPTv3 works good once set up and adjusted properly. Channel selection and the placement of this extender has a big effect on performance. People should ask if 2.4GHz Wi-Fi is acceptable for their needs. Extenders with 2.4GHz & 5GHz radios built in are likely better in Wi-Fi crowded areas. It's best to study & know Wi-Fi or consult experts before buying equipment. People need to know how to monitor network data and adjust software settings for optimal Wi-Fi performance. Your local Wi-Fi radio conditions are constantly changing. Interference and network traffic on many channels is happening as more & more users go wireless. You cannot just set it and forget it with Wi-Fi.
