Only ¾" thick at its highest point, this compact and slim numeric keypad featuring full-size keys makes touch-typing a synch for accountants and road warriors. The PAUK10U slim keypad includes a backspace and "000" key, for improved typing efficiency and convenience. The Numeric Lock does not synchronize with the laptop computer's built-in keyboard, therefore will not lock up the alpha keys. The USB cable ensures plug and play and requires no driver software.

    Easy to store in my laptop case...

    This keypad was listed as used BUT it looks and works like a new item.... It is plug and play and also is a USB hub with two usb ports in the top where the wire exits the keypad.... which is great for using on laptops that only have two USB ports and makes using thumb drives easy to change...... I'm happy with this purchase......

    1 bad outta 3

    I used a pair of these in my business for 18 years before the first one wore out, so on one level they are really, really good. On the other hand, I just bought 3 new ones (new and in the box), and the first one I opened failed in under 5 minutes. The second one has worked fine so far, and the 3rd one I'm leaving unopened for now. I'd never been inside one before, but I took apart the two non-working ones (and briefly put together a nearly-working hybrid). And having been inside, these are so cheaply made it may be a miracle my first pair lasted so long. But they are also a very smart, simple design, so if one is working from the start, not much can go wrong.

    Product works. Adds functionality to laptops

    Having normal sized keys, that is the same size on a desktop keyboard, allows you to "10key" without having to relearn where the keys are when you are not looking. If you are at a contest entering scores into a computer, this makes life much easier.
