I got this for my 79 year old mom for her voice-only line where a smartphone isn't needed or even wanted. This phone has superb battery life (granted, the Verizon signal at my house is string), menus and displays that are easy to see and navigate with big fonts and good soeakerphone. Oh, and I love the fact that this phone uses a standard microUSB charger! The only downer is the earpiece audio quality. It's really bad :(.

I replaced my aging RazrV3 flip phone with this one. It certainly works well. It has a good display and the menus are well done. The text is very easy to read. However, the audio has a digital type distortion and it is difficult to understand what someone is saying. After 2 weeks of garble, I switched to an old 4S iphone.

This is a great phone for us older people because we are not computer giants. It is easy to operate without a lot of knowledge but if you know computer, it has a lot of features for a phone that size.

Got this phone promptly no problem sold as a new phone. I could not get it to activate so I took it to my Verizon store and the nice people there got it to work on my account. However in the process when they removed the back cover it was discovered that the internal phone parts were used and not even Gusto 3 parts. The I.D.# on the original case was gone and a new one inserted not factory. The phone activates as a Something360 or such not a Gusto 3, although it seems to work fine now it is not what I purchased or as represented.

the gusto 3 is very similar to the gusto 2,,,, a little thinner and the buttons on the sides have stronger springs or are recessed more so you do not turn on speakerphone or activate the camera when answering a call....The Gusto 2 was A PAIN from the beginning -- my answer was to purchase a case for the 2 and that helped a lot...However the case will not fit the gusto 3. Do not need it anyway!! Battery life is good on both phones, the 3 shows 3 bars and then 2 bars of battery left, but I can go 3 or 4 days before I have to charge battery.. Battery lasts 7-9 days...I do not use the phone for anything other than making/receiving calls, approx. 600-650 min./month..

I like this mostly fuss free phone.pros are that it's small and very basic with no internet. Cons are that when receiving a message the phone doesn't allow you to do any other functions, and the camera lens sticks out from the phone so it gets easily scratched. I put a clear piece of packing tape over the lens to protect it. The camera is low quality but that's not important to me

I took the motherboard from my previously broken Gusto and put it in this new one. Was glad to find the internals of this phone to be very clean with nothing broken. For a basic $15 phone it was very easy to work on, got my contacts back and it now performs as needed.

The Gusto 3 seems to reach out and capture a far-away cell tower. That's good enough. The soft green screen with black letters is good enough for texts. One annoying feature, though. The phone is too fast on darkening the screen. You have to poke a key to keep it awake. The camera takes decent pictures that translate into 5x7 pixel free pictures.

This product is advertised as working with an existing Verizon Wireless agreement ("postpaid), but it will not. My Verizon contract will end in 15 months and virtually all the phones advertised will work only as Prepaid and will not be work under an existing Postpaid agreement. I recommend that anybody purchasing a cell phone to work under an existing contract first get the phone MIID and confirm with Verizon ahead of time. Otherwise you are likely to be disappointed.

This phone, advertised as a new phone, was purchased as a replacement without having to sign a new 2 year contract with Verizon. The phone as received has software for another type of phone. (touch screen) Accordingly, Verizon thinks I have a different phone. This leads to problems with the features on the phone. While the phone makes and receives calls there are other issues. I can take pictures but I can't download them, I couldn't load my numbers from my old phone to this phone (apparently disabled). By far the biggest problem with this phone is if Verizon downloads software updates, because it thinks I have a different phone, and it restarts the phone this one will not power up. Because I do not use the phone daily this has lead to some problems with lost calls. The phone itself is probably good but the phone I purchased from this seller is not. Therefore a poor rating.Read full review
