I thought this was the early 2000s version of the show I saw on Netflix, which I thoroughly enjoyed. However, this is the 1970s version of the show. It started out well but sort of fizzled out by season (series) 2. For instance, one of the main female characters is supposed to be searching for her son. She left the show at the end of season 1, and you never find out whether she was successful. in pretty much every episode (starting in season 2) The characters are in a different place and it’s sometimes difficult to figure out what their purpose is for being there. Some episodes were fairly engaging, but many were not. I ended up being rather disappointed.

Well it's no walking dead and that is a good thing at times. Story is engaging and interaction of characters is well done. Like in real life you grow to like and dislike the characters involved. Nice show if you enjoy the what if society collapses do to a disaster of some sort. How would you deal without any of the thing's you take for granted this show attempts to recreate that scenario in A typical BBC fasion rather good but not great hence 4 stars to be honest if I could give it 3.5 I would have.

This is a great series. Slow moving but gripping. Created by Terry Nation, who created the Daleks in Dr Who. Engaging survivalist drama. Watch it!

It plays nicely and is a timely subject; it's about a virus that kills almost everybody.
