This is one of Dylan's best albums and also one of his most infuential. Released in 1965, it was Dylan's first all-electric album and includes his hit "Like A Rolling Stone". All of the other songs are great as well especially the title track, "Ballad Of A Thin Man", and "Desolation Row". It's also worth noting that Rolling Stone magazine rated this the fourth greatest album of all time. It's definitely one of my favorites.

I'm just learning about Bob Dylan's music and his impact on rock and roll and the evolution of music. You might think that I'm young; 64 years young; however, grew up with Pat Boone and the Drifters. Bob's music is getting back to the beginning or transition from R&B, folk to r&r and ballads of the 60's, 70's and beyond. A great primer for those of us who were not aware of Bob "back then."
As a hybrid SA/CD you can play this any way you want if you are lucky enough to have an SACD player and a regular CD player. Better than vinyl!

From the moment the snare smacks us into "Like a Rolling Stone" to the last note of "Desolation Row" this album burns.
