    I specifically asked the seller for the distance from the center post to the lower screw post. It was quoted as 9 1/2 inches. I purchased based on that measurement. In actuality, the distance was 8 1/2 inches. This required me to redrill the door in order to make it work. It was a good price, but totally inaccurate description.
