This is a good smart phone for someone who does not need to purchase the latest, most expensive model. The screen clarity is great, it has many options for adjustments of brightness, volume etc. The battery life is not great, my old flip phone could go many days before recharging, this goes about 2 days. I do not use it for the internet so the short battery life is surprising. One plus for the phone is that the battery is not sealed and can be replaced. Because this is an unlocked AT&T phone it has many AT&T features that have to be bypassed sometimes (user agreement, minute tracking etc.) Overall I would recommend this phone to anyone who wishes to have a smart phone without an exorbitant price.

I have found in the 3-4 weeks I have used this phone to be inconsistent with battery life and screen function. The screen flickers and gets lines horizontally across the screen when flickering. It needs to be restarted sometimes multiple times per day. For the money it has been an OK purchase. I probably wouldn't buy one again. I figured getting something "New in box" would mean it didn't have its quirks. I can live with these quirks because I'm not dishing out another $200 for another one but its frustrating sometimes. I haven't used many of the smart modes or motion modes the phone has. Nor have I used the S beam feature or the eyes scrolling and video features. Grading this product on a five star system, I'd give it four stars! The Galaxy S4 has so many easy and great things about it. You can set a car mode which will allow you to drive and have it voice activate at once. It has easy mode which will allow people who don't understand the technology understand how to use the phone better. On the Galaxy S4 you can view two different screens at once! You can use your hands and face to signal the sensor and make the phone do something. The camera has great focus on what ever you're trying to capture and also has multiple actions for when you take the photo. You can take a picture and capture the background noise. You can take a multiple photo's at once and create a slideshow or story with them! It even has a front facing camera! Some cons about the Galaxy S4 product that I have discovered are that it restarts randomly, it tells me I never have service until I restart it, the battery needs to be charged often, and the brightness of the screen will often switch from dark and bright. I would say overall this product is great! It does what you need it to do and comes with all kinds of different features! Despite a couple flaws this phone works great. I know it has great reviews on most tech sites but I find it disappointing in many ways. My old DNA was louder- this phone I cannot hear if I am in ambient noise situation. If you want to shut off the screen without shutting down the phone, you wind up hitting the volume button every time, since the ON/OFF switch is directly opposite the volume switch, it's almost impossible to not hit it every time you want to shut the screen down. And with the battery draining so fast, I don't want to let it go dark in it's own time. Another annoying thing is that you cannot make the volume louder while in text mode. it will just make the text writing bigger. Texting is a pain in the you know what- the phone seems to create drafts out of no where and they are very hard to get rid of- I just gave up trying to delete them. My DNA could call a phone number from any website, without it having to be a special feature of the website. This phone won't do it so I have to write the phone number down and then call it manually. Lets see.. what do I like better about it? I cannot think of anything at the moment. Oh yes, it's nice to be able to change the battery without a major investment being made. I brought this phone to replace my original S4, which suffered a shattered screen. I liked my old phone, it was reliable, and as long as you had a screen protector and a decent case, was fairly sturdy. I took a lot of pictures with it, and was pleased with the quality of them. Video was OK, but you needed a steady hand. Battery life was mediocre, especially in poor signal areas, but portable lithium battery packs make that problem more manageable. I love this phone. Ever since I've gotten it, I've only had a few problems. One of those is that it can overheat, as it is just so compact of a design and the screen is so large. The only other thing is that I had to replace the motherboard for a phone problem for around $100, which kind of sucked. Otherwise, it's a brilliant phone. I've never had such a high-res LED dsiplay, quick system, nor sexy design on a phone in my life, and this is even a few gens old. It simply doesnt matter. Still chugging away in 6mo+. Purchased this phone and it was in great condition when it arrived. However, a week or two after the 30 day warranty expired it began to display a Cannot Detect Sim Card Error. This would force me to have to restart the phone every time this error displayed. At its worst it would display this Error up to 10-15 times a day causing me to miss calls and texts if I did not see the Error and restart the phone. If this Error occurred while asleep the alarm would not function causing me to oversleep. The battery was also very cheap. Now the phone appears to be no longer functional. This product was a ripoff and I wasted my money by purchasing from this seller. Just a heads up to future buyers, the phone will most likely crap out on you after the warranty ends.

I think other sellers would have categorized both of these phones as "next to new" condition and priced it way high. They work & look just like new phones. I had to do quite a bit of research prior to purchasing to know what would work with our current contract/carrier & I encourage other buyers the same. But upon recieving the phones & getting them to work was exactly as I thought it would be-smooth! We have an at&t contract. The phones we bought used are both at&t phones (I actually think one phone is technically a "at&t go phone", but works the same for our contract- once the sim card was in you can't tell) We put the sim card we already had on older phones & put them into these phones. I can't believe more people don't buy used phones! When we tell people how we bought used phones they feel so suckered by the expensive latest model purchased at the stores.
