The "Icebox" -- Apple's Last G3 iBook Series
The "Icebox" -- G3 iBook/900Mh, early 2003, sold for parts/repair; booted fine from OS 9 installation disc, but wouldn't recognize hard drive. Ordered new hard drive, 512 RAM chip and Airport card for about $50. Unfortunately, from looking at ifixit, this particular series of laptops is a bear to get into for hdd replacement. Part of the fun, though! This is one of the last iBooks able to boot into OS 9.The "Icebox" -- G3 iBook/900Mh, early 2003, sold for parts/repair; booted fine from OS 9 installation disc, but wouldn't recognize hard drive.
