I used these in my 08 tundra with the JBL system in the front doors. If you read the instructions, you wire the dual voice coils in parallel to make these 2ohms for the JBL system. You will need to buy Metra 82-8146 6X9 adapters to fit these to the door. You'll also need universal 1/4 or 1/2 inch thick 6x9 spacers for the speaker magnet to clear the window regulator in the door. After they're installed, I had to trim a small amount of plastic on the inside of the door panel around the speaker area so they didn't hit. Overall, they were worth it. It took me about 2 hours total and cost about 150$ to upgrade the speakers in my tundra. These sound great and have lots of low end bass, they sound like a subwoofer.
