About this product

Product Information

This 1990 one-cent piece is a zinc-copper coin featuring one of the most iconic designs in the history of the U.S. Mint, the bust of President Abraham Lincoln. Designed by Victor David Brenner, it is located on the obverse, or heads side, of this U.S. penny. Weighing 0.09 oz (2.5 g) and measuring 0.75 inches (19 mm) across, this 1990 one-cent piece also bears a design on the reverse side etched by the tenth Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, Frank Gasparro, which details the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C. This zinc-copper coin has a 99.2 percent zinc core and is clad in copper plating. The edge of this U.S. penny is plain, not reeded. A circulation strike of 6,851,765,000 units of this U.S. penny was struck at the Philadelphia Mint in this year.

  • Excellent qualiity product and service

I ordered 10 Proof Lincoln Cents (1990-S,...,1999-S)on cyber Monday (26-Nov-12). The coins were the first to arrive of three different orders placed to three vendors that day even though they were the last ordered after 11 PM. The coins were exactly as expected and described.

  • Penny books

I have different dated penny books I want to try and fill. I am happy with my purchase and look forward to buying more from you.
