    A nice size for reading books

    This is my second surface, my first one, an rt, died. It would not charge. So far this one seems OK, I bought this one because it is the smallest pad that has an expandable memory, runs windows 10,has a USB port, and lte. Of course it has the usual windows problems, Microsoft edge has a few glitches to work out but because it runs windows 10 you can run Mozilla instead, unlike the rt. Occasionally some of the apps stop working, so far just a restart seems to get them going again. But I really like the size for reading books, which is why I bought this model, the newer models and pro models are getting bigger and bigger and the typical "readers" are too small. This one is just e little bigger than the rt I was used to. Everything else is a bonus!

    The best portable laptop and tablet

    I prefer this 10.1 inch than the lager screens. It has good mobility and easy to handle. The speed and resolution is excellent and this can be used as a tablet or laptop mode.

    Steep learning curve

    Great product. I especially like the ability to connect to any flat screen monitor via HDMI to watch a movie when we're away from home. Can't easily do that with an ipad. Unfortunately, there is a steep learning curve trying to figure out basic tasks. No owner's manual to speak of, had to visit youtube several times. Definitely not as user friendly as an Apple product, but fits my needs perfectly.
