    OCZ Went Broke Because of Faulty SSDs

    OCZ rushed several SSD models to market but their controller software was half-baked. They had to replace literally hundreds of thousands of faulty items because of this practice. Toshiba bought them out and continues to market the OCZ brand. Maybe they are more reliable now? If you spend just a few dollars more you can get a made-in-USA Mushkin ECO3 or Triactor, or a PNY CS 1211, or a Sandisk Ultra II, or a Sandisk X400 (with 320 TBW endurance rating - perfect for home theater recording or video editing). Cheers!

    Don't hesitate!

    Now that Toshiba has bought out the company these drives are top notch. Currently have these running in a server environment in a raid 1 config. and has out lasted the previous Samsung array. All for less money.
