Stilleto heels for your Inspire
Well, since the Inspire 1 comes with a little camera the normal landing gear is enough to clear it and keep it from hitting the ground, however if you install the X5 and make it into an Inspire Pro, the X5 is a bit too close to the ground for comfort when you land, specially if the camera is pointing down and you forget to straighten it. DJI made these extensions that make it taller and are high enough to keep the very expensive X5 safe, this kit is either a replacement in case you break one or more or if like me the Inspire for one reason or another did not come with them installed from the factory. So far it looks like the double sided tape provided is strong enough but I have been advised by "people in the know" to use epoxy, only time will tell, I hope I don't find out the hard way. ... Anyway, the kit even comes with 2 spares, I guess in anticipation of a hard landing or that the tape fails and you drop one in the air. Do I recommend them? If you have an X3 you don't need them, if you upgrade to the X5 they are highly recommended.
