This flash is really well designed, it works perfectly with the olympus system; zooms with lhe lens from 24mm to 108mm(35mm equivalent) and great in TTL mode when mounted on the hotshoe. As a slave it responds very well to redeye reduction, slow sync and slow syn2 modes. I love the user interface, it's very easy to use, no fuss. The built quality is excellent for a flash in this price range and very compact for a flash with 4 batteries. The batteries mount in a removable magazine with the + and - terminals at the same end. You can easily mount the batteries in the dark. It has a nice diffuser and reflective card, both work very well. The head does not swivel and the slave mode is not TTL but this is not a negative for a flash in this price range, you need to pay more to get these features. The range and recycling time is excellent. I highly recommend this flash unit has an external flash for the epl2 or any Olympus.Read full review
As I had just purchased a Panasonic DMC-G6H (Compact system) camera and needed the extra power of a flash gun I began searching for a suitable unit. After reading lots of reviews it became obvious that this was the unit for me. It is a simple unit which works exceptionally well, is quite small, powerful and good value for money so it fits the bill p[perfectly for me. Highly recommended!
