Does not contain Salmon!
Only been using it for a little more than a week now (not long enough to see any improvement in my animals... I have 1 with arthritis of the hips and another with an elbow joint injury). But upon receiving the bottle and reading the ingredients list, there is no Salmon in this product (if it's not in the ingredients list, then it ain't in there!). Not sure why sellers are describing it as containing Salmon when that's not in the product's ingredients list. Product does smell good (to me) and the animals I'm treating seem to like it on a Nature Valley Granola bar (it absorbs right into the granola bar, making it easier to give to them). The jury is still out as to whether it actually helps my animals with their joint issues though. Easy to administer and your pet will maintain better activity levels.
My 8yo female American Bulldog mix had 2 litters prior to us rescuing her and has bad hips and knee [Seen the X-rays]. The Veterinarian recommended this product. Easy to administer and she appears to like the flavor. Her stride during our walks is smooth and without any favor and limp. She had displayed slowed get up and often limped prior to being placed on this. Quality product in easy to use dispenser
Purchased on the recommendation from my vet for my 6yo boxer as a preventative measure. My boxer seems to take it well with her evening meals and although the ingredients and percentages appear superior to most other brands, it is still too early to say if I see any direct improvement, since my dog wasn't displaying any joint discomfort to begin with. Just ensure you have the food bowl positioned correctly for the pump sprayer dispenser or you will have fishy smelling liquid all over the counter. :)Purchased on the recommendation from my vet for my 6yo boxer as a preventative measure. Excellent for Bull Breed Dogs
I have a low rider American Bully that was poorly bred. I adopted him from the shelter and his poor stubby legs were a mess. He genetically inherited horrible joints and hips. This oil has been a great preventative prior to increased exercise and has helped alleviate the everyday routines dog's do of getting up and down.
