    Best BR player with 7.1 analogue outputs on the market.

    We have several players here and this one is just simply the best. The error correction is top-notch and having proper 7.1 analogue outputs means that it can be used with conventional amp and speakers and of course is ideal for use with a proper sound system using active speakers. We have this hooked up to a 24:10 Soundcraft mixer that feeds seven Genelec speakers set into the walls and two Genelec subs. The image goes to an Optima projector and a 2.5m screen and is part of a professional post production studio. There is of course nothing to stop anyone from using the 8 audio outputs on the UB820 to feed a receiver, set of amps or active speakers directly. Once again, we have found Panasonic to be the brand that makes the best and most reliable products. My Panasonic EZ1 ...

    VERY Poor in Apps

    Plays 4K, Blu-Rays and DVDs with no problems producing a great picture. I had to return my player as it is suffering from a firmware problem with the apps. Unable to downscale streamed content to the projector input. Tries to send a 4K signal from YouTube Netflix when the player was set to output 1080p resulting in a HDCP 2.2 error. Lack of up to date Apps no Disney Plus so given this player only 3 stars

    Amazing Picture and sound, very well made.

    Amazing Picture and sound, very well made with plenty of inputs/output terminals, easy to use with manual, you can't really make a mistake setting it up, very quiet machine, I prefer Panasonic players as they are well built with plenty of features, great sound great picture, and easy to make multi region on the DVD side, as I have many region 1 DVD due to superior sound and picture in the past.

    Fantastic Piece of kit... I had my doubts at first as connecting it to my old 5.1 amp throught optical, the picture was quite out of sync... but after some faffing with the sound delay feature 70ms sound delay and it looks spot on in sync now.. I only have 1 4k title so far (Dune)... the resolution is just stunning!... Blue rays upscaled also lok fantastic. Especially the Encore edition of "A star is Born" which is just AMAZING!..

    Great player...could be better.

    Good points:- Great picture quality. Good video info feature. Bad:- Limited disc support. No DVD-RAM, SACD. Only a basic short manual provided. You do need the full manual, and going to a PC to read it is a pain. Buttons on top surface is bad design. Should be on front since I need to put set-top box on top of this player.
