Great old band that is still kicking.
These guys have been around since the 80s and are still recording and touring. They have 11 albums to date and they are all really good. This is my personal favorite. It's so good that it sounds like a greatest hits collection. Every song is great. So my advice is buy some of their music. I'd be surprised if you didn't end up buying more.

Where did I go wrong
O.K. going back and reviewing this record after many years have passed I have to say that this is the best Cult record ever. I was always partial to Love and it's moodiness. It straddled this void between Rock and Goth. I always hated Electric. I thought that it was the worst AC/DC record ever. I still do. But I've finally come around to Sonic Temple. Bob Rock did a masterful job producing this one. All the instruments sound good and nothing is overbearing or harsh. Fire Woman was always the stand out cut but Sweet Soul Sister and New York City also demand to be noticed. There really isn't a bad song on here. And after 20 years this record still holds up.
