About this product

Product Information

This classically styled isometric role-playing adventure leads Game Boy Advance players through some of the most significant events in the Dragon Ball Z storyline, from the Saiyaman saga through the Kid Buu sagas. Though similar in style to earlier DBZ adventures for the GBA (such as The Legacy of Goku and its sequel), Buu's Fury features enhanced graphics and an upgraded combat system. Players choose from seven available Z-Warrior characters, who become more powerful as they adventure through the game's various locations. Fusion of two characters -- a staple of the anime series -- is possible in this game, allowing fans to create melded warrior heroes such as Gotenks and Vegito. Two properly equipped GBA players can link together and spar against one another, developing key fighting skills before facing off against the nefarious Buu himself.

Nothing like Legacy of Goku 2

Nowadays, if you can't score this game for 10 bucks, (including shipping) you're overpaying. This game is nowhere near as good as Legacy of Goku 2.

  • Best of the Legacy Series?

Buu's Fury takes place after the Dragon Ball Z Anime, and starts where Legacy of Goku II left off. You start when Goku is in the Other World, and it follows extremely close to the Anime. I enjoyed this game, however I did not like many things about it. I found that even though this game was an RPG there was a lot of talking by the characters. Ofcourse in an RPG a large part of the game is story but there is also gameplay. I found that most of the action parts were just because you had to break level requiment doors, so you had to train a lot. The fighting seemed tedious since you just had to kill to level up your character, and it felt like to progress you always had to break the level requirement doors. And the level of the door requirements were very ridiculus. At one point I had to ...

  • Awesome Game! Would recomend it to any Dragon Ball Z Fan

Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury is a reallly great game. Its a really easy game to follow if you don't know anything about this saga. One thing that I didn't really like was leveling up your character like if Goku was on lvl. 69 you would have to lvl him up to 80 to break a door, but overall I think its a great game! What I like about this game is that it follows the TV show perfectly and that you can turn Super Saiyan 1 and 3!!! If you are a Dragon Ball Z fan and you enjoyed Legacy of Goku and Legacy of Goku 2 then you will really enjoy this game!!!!

  • Very Fun Game

If you are a true Dragonball Z fan you will love this game. It's not too easy, and yet it's not too hard. The gameplay is very fun. You get to be multiple characters from DBZ, and build up their individual levels as well as their speed, power, strength and endurance, I really liked that aspect of the game. The plot follows the plots of the episodes during the Buu Saga. The controls are easy to learn. Buu's Fury is a must have if you are a true Dragonball Z fan and/or looking for a fun Dragonball Z game!
