    Cisco Valet M20

    I have used this product before with excellent success. There is a firmware update available for the Valet Plus M20, so I would recommend downloading it from the Linksys website (https://www.linksys.com/us/support-product?pid=01t80000003K7ZWAA0) and performing the upgrade. Needed an additional access point for another area of the house where signal strength was low. Again, I use mine functionally as an access point only.

    Would have been 5 stars if the easy install worked as advertised.

    Works well. I liked the setup which is supposed to be easy. But, it was not easy because the router software install did not work as advertised. I had to call tech support so they could walk me through resetting the router and bypassing the software easy-install steps. So, the whole easy setup was a bust. I spend a half an hour on the phone with tech support from India, although she was nice and tried her hardest to sound american, she wasn't and did not understand some of my questions. Otherwise, the router works well and I have a better signal strength, signal never drops and is nice a quick, compared to my old Linksys N router (don't buy a refurb router, wasted my money).

    Recommended

    Bought this as a back-up for my 10 year old one, which is still working. This was the easiest wi-fi router to set up that I've ever had. With the price of new ones running well over $100, I couldn't pass up this bargain in case I ever need a replacement.

    Satisfied

    I use mine as a WiFi extender. I really like it because it enables me now to connect to the WiFi when I’m too far away from the main modem-router. As far as range, it’s not that great but it is still better than some WiFi extenders.

    My Review.....

    For my purposes it was a very easy setup and the WIFI Range was virtually the same as my old Netgear router. For the price, it was a "STEAL!"
