It works as designed but is limited
This is the same or very similar to a variety of Lux products. I've had three Lux thermostats fail (for two different units) over the last 25 years or so, which I suppose is not a bad fatality rate, Besides this, all I know about these is that they work fine within their limitations--such as having to manually change from a heating setting to a cooling one, and manually changing the time when daylight savings comes and goes. This is the same or very similar to a variety of Lux products.
