Excellent book for beginners on BioInformatics
I bought this book for my course in BioInformatics and I liked it. The exercises were pretty good. I liked the solutions for the problems too. As for the material i felt is was good enough to get people started. The chapters and topics coveres items quite concisely. I would recommend this book for any beginner in BioInformatics. One thing i must say is that prior knowledge and experience in Perl would be a major plus.I bought this book for my course in BioInformatics and I liked it. The exercises were pretty good. I liked the solutions for the problems too. As for the material i felt is was good enough to get people started. The chapters and topics coveres items quite concisely. I would recommend this book for any beginner in BioInformatics. One thing i must say is that prior knowledge and experience in Perl would be a major plus.
