This is an EXCELLENT quad copter at any price.
I have several RC copters and quadcopter drones. This is by far the best value for the money at twice the price. If you just want to try one out to see what its like but don't want to have to buy a bigger one immediately, this is the one. You can set it on SLOW speed and learn the controls, even fly it in the house. As you get better, bump it up to MEDIUM speed, but you better take it outside unless you're in an auditorium. This thing will MOVE. You get 3 and 4 channel control selector, extra battery, EZPZ app, and app syncing, great camera (still pics, video saving, video streaming), and all the trim adjustments, auto take off and land, and a STUNT button. This unit is extremely well built and has EXCELLENT DJI software. You'll be amazed by how easy and fun it is to fly this ... I have several RC copters and quadcopter drones. Fun to fly
It is the right price and the right kind of challenge for a beginner. Though it might be better to start with a cheaper drone, for someone who has never flown one before; just to get use to the controller. It is really fun to fly. Now I'm trying to figure out how to use the video system.

Broken drone sent
We had to return this product because it would not get off the ground on one side. It looked like it had been opened before and return because the box was torn and we had to put it in another box we had previously. The first drone worked fine but this one was broken.
