Classic Collective Soul
If you love Collective Soul this CD is a must have. I've purchased "Dosage" at least half a dozen times over the years and given them all away. One of the few CD's that you can listen to from beginning to end. They're all great--every song. And if you've been missing classic guitar riffs in your life lately you need to listen to "Heavy".... One of the most underrated freight train-esque riffs of all time. Love it..If you love Collective Soul this CD is a must have. I've purchased "Dosage" at least half a dozen times over the years and given them all away. One of the few CD's that you can listen to from beginning to end. They're all great--every song. Another very solid album.
Most bands start to get in a rut somewhat after four major albums, but not these guys. This is just as good as anything they've ever done. "Heavy" and "Run" are the big hits from this album, and they are very cool, but just like their other albums, the hits aren't necessarily the best songs on the album. I find that on all their albums, most of the songs are very good and there aren't too many that stand above others. (which is perhaps the biggest reason I'm deducting a point from it) I like all the songs on this one equally and there is even a hidden bonus track a couple of minutes after the last track.
