Great phone phone with wonderful features
I purchased this phone as a birthday gift for my husband. He is pretty hard on cell phones. It's a nice size, small but not too small. External speakers which he loves and it comes with some games on it already. He's a 'tetris' freak. The battery lasts about 24 hours even with all the long hours he spends playing tetris. About three days with just regular use. He loves the fact that it is bluetooth and mp3 capable although we haven't figured those features out yet. Time issues. I'm more of the hi-tech person than he is, but he looks forward to downloading music to this phone. He is a music lover. And it takes great pictures althought he has only taken one picture so far. The only good thing/bad thing about this phone is having to purchase the extra memory card for music downloads. ... I purchased this phone as a birthday gift for my husband. Samsung a920 Cell Phone
This A 920 cell phone has a great display which makes easy to read and a calendar foreground to review month at a glance. You can store numerous phone numbers and a nice easy to read display list. The built in memory is quite sufficient for emergency photos and comes with a mini memory card of 31mb as back up. Adapters to SD are available for your computer media slot. The 1.3 camera is just ok as a beginner camera, however I don't know many people which use their phone for lifelong memory photos. I use it for work. There is a software download at Samsung for the A920 and maybe others that is used for contact copier so if you upgrade to another it will transfer all phone contacts or transfer without duplicating to another phone. Battery life seems better than the newer phones and durability is far greater with the abuse I put them thru. I will say some of these A920 phones have the same problem, not all of them forward a notification message for a missed or in box message. It becomes necessary to check the missed log to see if anyone has called or call the voicemail messages. Otherwise you don't know when you could have missed phone messages. I use three Samsung A920 at once and only one delivers a in box notification messages of course the one I use the least. If anyone else knows how to correct this problem please leave a review. My provider fixed one once and lasted only a week. I did purchase an A920 ebay used phone in hopes it wouldn't have the same problem however it did. So it must be a built in flaw. At times the reception for this phone isn't the best and Sprint, being with them over 10 years, has always had this problem. The phone will take alot of abuse and being in the construction industry, it doesn't want to break and the battery life is better then average other then that I'm satisfied.

Samsung - A -920 MM phone
The A920, by Sprint PCS - is a Power Vision phone with spectacular clarity and resolution of the main screen. Despite the relatively small size for an internet use type phone, the fine detail of graphics if provides practically makes up for the small size. Once setup properly the internet is stable, tv quite decent with little distortion, and audio is very good. The mp3 player is solid but there is not an equalizer which would help with the built in speakers. Even so, the reproduction is decent for the equipment involved, and certainly 'listenable'. Decent keypad - awkward like most regular pads for texting, but easy enough to get used to. A swiss army knife disguised as a clamshell phone.
We have a half dozen A-920 phones on our Sprint accounts. All of them have been purchased through Ebay used and all work perfectly. When we decided to upgrade our phones we had the choice of adding two years to our contracts and getting brand new free phones, or paying extra for new phones with extra features. Or we could buy better quality used phones with a bunch of extra features and have no contract. If you have no obligation to Sprint their customer retention department is very negotiable. This is a big advantage to buying a used phone through Ebay. We have been able to negotiate free internet access on all of our phones. The A-920 provides EVDO high speed internet access. The built in steroe speakers are very good and an inexpensive adapter allows almost any stereo headset to be used. The memory card also allows easy transfer of pictures taken with the phone to a laptop. The A920 also has built in GPS with free programs available to use this feature with a moving map that downloads new maps over the internet as you travel. The speakerphone is very easy to use and works well also. The one downside of the a-920 is the size of the display. Many games and programs are designed for a 320x240 display and the A-920 has a 220x176 display. This means many of your favorite video games will not play correctly on an a-920 although there are still many available. The A-920 is a high quality phone with many features that make it especially desirable to those of us who enjoy tweaking a bit to get the most out of their phones. I have purchased six of them and all have worked well. I have paid between $25 and $50 a piece with shipping. Extra batteries are about $5 on Ebay. The best phone I received was also the cheapest.

Decent phone
Phone works fine. It is a bit thicker than I like though not heavy. Inside display is very bright and clear. Keypad are well shaped and easy to use. Also has memory slot to hold music and video. Like the stereo speakers on hinge and they sound pretty good. Case is plastic and doesn't seem to attract fingerprints. All in all a good basic phone.
