THE MONSTER CLUB is a trio of terror tales featuring late great actors John Carradine, Donald Pleasence, and the master of macabre himself, Vincent Price. A writer of horror stories (Carradine) is invited by a mysterious old gentleman (Price) to join in a sinister storytelling session at a rock nightclub.     Vincent Price's last great horror anthology...a lot of fun!

    Vincent Price stars as a vampire who preys upon, then befriends aged horror author John Carradine. The pair then head to "The Monster Club" for a few drinks, some great 80's music and a trio of horror stories. The three stories presented are fantastic. The first is a sympathetic tale about a shy, lonely monster called a Shadmock, who only wants to be loved, with tragic and horrifying consequences for the conniving woman who betrays him. Next up is a rather comedic story about fatherly devotion starring the great Donald Pleasence as a persistent vampire hunter, which brings us to the final tale, easily the best of the three. While scouting for locations, movie director Stuart Whitman stumbles across an incredibly creepy forgotten village populated by ghouls. This one really gets ...

    Interesting music and some fun stories.

    This might not have been the best of Vincent Price, but it was worth the money. Interesting music and some fun stories. Not that bad. I am glad I got it.
