When I opened the scanner after it looked new. It has a surprisingly small footprint. These scanners were some of the best ever made. I drooled over them for years seeing them in doctors offices all the time. Best of all it's a DUPLEX freakin scanner!! And yes, it scans letter size paper beautifully! I am very happy. What a deal!
