Have used Ram mounts for years on smaller depth finders. Moved up to a Lowrance Hook 7 and feel very good about using this on my rig, have all the confidence in the world that my fish finder will be well supported and in good care. Unit is extremely strong and hole alignment is flexible enough that it must fit any unit that is made. Ingenuity of design makes installation and use very appealing!

Fishfinder mount
Well I didn't realize I ordered the 1" ball rather than the 1 1/2" I needed so I cut off the ball flush and I had a 1 1/2" small flush mount that I screwed to the aluminum base and it worked out fine to mount my fishfinder to the H rail .
