HILARIOUSLY FUNNY! Stand-Up Comedy at Its Finest.
John Pinette's album Making Lite of Myself is hilariously funny from the first track onward! It's easy to see how he won the Stand-up Comedian of the Year. His observations about food, exercise, and general life experiences are easy to relate to and very humorous. Pinette's ability to affect attitude and voices make his stories very visual. Anyone with a family will be able to relate to his observations about moving to Pennsylvania, the interactions he has with his absent-minded sister, and his experiences hosting Thanksgiving dinner. As one might suspect, Making Lite of Myself has a great deal to do with food and exercise. Pinette's down-to-earth comedic delivery is very believable and is laugh-out-loud funny. Making "Lite" of a Great CD
First, let me say that if you have never seen or heard of this comedian before, you don't know the laughs you have been missing. This CD--Making Lite of Myself, is actually his 4th. By now, John Pinette has refined his act so perfectly that he flows from one topic to the next, smoothly and effortlessly. He reveals parts of his life which makes the listener laugh out loud! His connection with his audience is spectacular, always knowing when to zing them or when to lead them on. His voice, although he does DO a lot of speaking very loudly, has a gentle lilt to it. This is a very enjoyable CD. If you are thinking of trying out a new comedian, or you may have have heard John over the radio and want more of him--then this CD is a perfect addition to your collection. I state this without ...
