Konami's second North American Dance Dance Revolution release for PlayStation 2, DDRMAX2 sticks to the winning formula of rhythm-based stepping challenges set to popular licensed dance music. A new interface features actual music videos that play during selected songs, while new modes allow bemani brothers and sisters to stomp to the beat in new ways.<br><br>A "Beginner Mode" is designed to introduce newcomers to gameplay basics, while the "Nonstop Mode" plays through one of many themed courses of songs with no break between them. The new "Endless Mode" goes a step further, playing every song in the game in a single, continuous mix. Favorites such as "Workout Mode" and "Edit Mode" return as well.<br><br>Within the hours of music showcased in DDRMAX2 are the following songs, which also feature music videos: "Days Go By," by Dirty Vegas; "Conga Feeling," by Vivian; "The Whistle Song (Blow My Whistle Baby)," by DJ Aligator Project; "Love At First Sight," by Kylie Minogue; and both "Dream a Dream" and "In the Navy '99 (XXL Disaster Remix)" by Captain Jack.

    So much nostalgia!

    I hadn't played any DDR since I was in middle school, so this game is like a time machine. I have had a blast dancing to all the ridiculously and challenging songs in this iteration of DDR, and who could forget the Whistle Song? Not this dancer! I would highly recommend this installment of the series for any returning veteran or newcomer that wants to shamelessly dance to some crazy music.

    Good game from the ddr series

    Bought this to add to my collection of DDR games. The game works great and has a good selection of songs. It’s pretty on par with other DDR games for the ps2 when it comes to features. Not my favorite edition but it’s a fun game and it definitely will be part of my regular rotation.
