    Books I bought were listed as "excellent condition", but one was extremely water damaged. Since the other was not, and the package was not, I assumed the damage occurred before shipment. Seller offered me a small partial refund, and I didn't feel like fighting them on it. They never denied lying in the first place.

    I just saw your writeup, and again, i m sorry for the problem. Firstly, i offered a full refund, then a partial refund of 3/4the the total, that s almost a free item, which was accepted. There was no denying because of the small amount involved, $4, it was not worth argueing. And, there was no lying, an oversite of details, which I don t remember since it was listed quite a while ago. and the book was completely readable.
