About this product

Product Information

Though it offers authentic, playable simulations of more than eight classic machines from the 1960s through the 1990s, Pinball Hall of Fame aims also to provide players with an entertaining, interactive reference to the history of pinball. Developers at FarSight Studios (NCAA Football '99, NASCAR Road Racing, ESPN NFL Primetime 2002) worked with the "curators" of the real-life "Pinball Hall of Fame" (a project headquartered in Las Vegas) in an effort to craft an accurate and relevant simulation. Each virtually re-created table is introduced with a "fly by," which points out notable features, allows players to plan strategies, and highlights artwork and interesting trivia. The game saves high scores, both by player and per table, and party-table kings and queens can unlock an additional "bonus" machine. Up to four can compete in the game's multiplayer modes.

  • a must have item if you are into gotleib pinballs

These aren't very good games they chose for this. Genie is a really cool widebody pinball but the graphics aren't as good as other machines on this disc. The games are fun & give you an idea of what the real ones are like. This is a way cool game considering it was made about 2004. The newer williams collection is much better. Whats ultra cool about this one though is thee awesome decorated gameroom. This gameroom might be a tiny bit smaller than the multi williams one but it is cooler. It has alot of old nostalgic games. Cool toys like trains, airplanes, fountains, vending machines, etc. It has a wood floor and appears as though it was put in a old saloon. Very cool.

  • Pinball Hall of Fame: The Gottlieb Collection (XBOX)

From "wood rails" to "digital", this compilation of Gottlieb pinball machines are very accurately depicted and they play well. The sights and sounds are right on the money. The only reason I do not give this an excellent rating is because the flipper action is poor. There is a considerable delay between when you operate the flippers on the game controller and when the flippers move on the game depicted on the screen. I do not know if this is a problem with the XBOX only or the problem is in the programming and will effect all the other versions. However, with a little practice, you can overcome this delay and enjoy playing some very nice pinball machines without the expense of buying the real machine.

  • Bring this game to North American Wii!!!!

The game is fantastic! the graphics are great the game play is easy, right down to your ability to tilt the machine. The only thing that would make this game better was if it were available in the U.S.A. for the Wii. The controls are easy to use for X-box but I think the Wii gives more of a realistic game play (I have the williams collection for Wii and I assume the controls would be the same since it's the same game maker) The Pinball boards are brilliant and it's a nice break from all of the FPS, and RPG's that dominate the market. So maybe you don't have the room for 7 pinball machines in your house... Well now you do as long as you have room for one Game disc Enjoy, grmpysmrf

  • Pinball Hall of Fame for Xbox

This game has serious potential but took two steps back right away. There's a reason pinball games were improved upon. This game utilizes a few decades worth of actual pinball games in the form of roughly 6 or 7 titles. There are additional unlockable pinball games but it's way too difficult to spend my time on. As a big pinball fan, I am very disappointed with this game. The vintage pinball games are just bad and the newer ones are not very entertaining. If you like video game pinball on the Xbox, stay away from this and choose "Pure Pinball." It has less tables but is much more gratifying.
