The radio was not packed tightly enough to stop shock damage during shipping. If box is crushed or ruptured, then the shipper is at at fault. If box is undamaged, (as was this case) but contents are damaged, then the blame lies with the seller/packer. Luckily the damage was not severe, and was fairly easily repaired, and the radio now works well and looks like new, so all things considered, the outcome was OK, and I am satisfied with the purchase.
