    Small but perfectly formed: a detailed yet absorbing and visually stimulating account of Shrewsbury 1403

    All in all, an excellent account of the battle of Shrewsbury, the events leading up to it and the aftermath. It strikes just the right balance between detail and readability. I particularly liked the references so that I could also access and read the original sources for myself. I've been looking for other books by Dickon - we need more! The illustrations by Graham Turner are of course excellent too.
