Handset stays put!
When looking for a replacement for the garage wall phone, I specifically wanted an "old" style that cradled the handset...no more handsets rattled off the base when the door slams or off kilter just enough to open the line for busy or dead signals! My son, home from NYC, immediately noticed the "old school" phone and wanted to know where I found it...
