Sony Video Camera, A Good Choice.
Here are the reasons why I bought this video camera. Its a Sony,its built well, I am familiar with this type of camera and its easy to work with.I like the fact that it has a microphone jack,This is great if another mic is needed. I also that it has zero lux,which is better for lower light settings.To finish up this camera has really good picture quality and you can get alot of use out of this camera. the only draw back is the play back buttons, (skin) bubble up and in time the words that say play or rewind (The buttons that are used the most) fall off and you cant read which button is the one that you want to use. This is only something to think about if a Sony camera has lots and I mean lots of use on it.Here are the reasons why I bought this video camera. Sony Handycam DCR TRV20
This is my second TRV20. The first was lost or stolen. I needed to transfer tapes to DVD's so I bought another. This little DCR Handycam is beautiful and comes with easy directions, though it may take some time to utilize all of them. The first one I had took beautiful stills or videos and we loved it. We presently have 3 or 4 years of videos encompassing grandkids growing up and all of the many places we have stayed in our timeshares or renting condos at the internet site of VRBO.com I am sure there are newer models out with more ammenities, but then, they would cost an arm and a leg. Buy one if you need a beautiful little mini handicam and can find one. There are several on EBay.This is my second TRV20. The first was lost or stolen. Excellent!
The camera was and still is a high end camera. The actions are crisp, zoo is smooth, viewfinder screen is clear. One of the outstanding features is the ability to take 0 lux pictures. Experts tell me that the night capabilities exceed Sony's current technology.

I chose this video camera because I already own one that I enjoy. It is starting to show signs of wear because I use it so much. I looked at newer models in retail stores, but none of the newer models that I could afford had all of the same features. I chose to purchase a gently used one, as backup, for the time when mine totally fails.

BEST SONY EVER IN MINI DV
BOUGHT THIS NEW IN 2000 FOR $1600. I GOT IT WET IN 2006 IN THE OCEAN. NOW I FINALLY FOUND IT ON EBAY FOR $180. ITS THE BEST MINI DV CAMERA OUT THERE. GREAT LENSES FOR CLEAR CRISP PICTUR QUALITY. VIBRATION REDUCTION IS AWESOME AND THE BIG COLOR SCREEN. O LUX FEATURE IS FANTASTIC.
