Replacement Door Roller Pin.
This Dorman Door Roller Pin will work on your truck door but I had to grind down some of the bottom OD to install it in the hole on the door hinge. I was not going to drill out the hole bigger for the pin to fit. After working on the pin, it fit my 1992 Chevy Silverado ext cab Z71. This Door Roller Pin replaced the original pin that came in it because the roller broke off. I purchased this 1992 truck used in 1994 so I know the history of it.This Dorman Door Roller Pin will work on your truck door but I had to grind down some of the bottom OD to install it in the hole on the door hinge. Make sure to bore the holes just a little bit!
It’s a very tight fit so you will most likely have to bore the hole out and carefully tap this in with a long pipe or something similar that will give you good leverage. I believe dorman is unfortunately the only company that manufacturers this part so despite the hurdles to install it, at least it does work as it should. Seems like it should last awhile too. Make sure to get a gm door spring compressor! Otherwise you will be in a world of hurt!It’s a very tight fit so you will most likely have to bore the hole out and carefully tap this in with a long pipe or something similar that will give you good leverage.
