    Stone the crows ;Beat workshop Germany 1973

    Solid performance thanks to Maggie Bell"s dynamite vocals, she is better Than Janisz Joplin by far! Unfortunately two great players are missing here;james Dewar on bass and vocal and Leslie Harvey on guitar, His elegant style ang great tube tone of his Orange amp is missing ! The replacement guitarist is anemic and has irritating early 70's solidstate tone. The entire band is Ok with the exception of the drummer and keyboard player, I have seen the footage of the original lineup and it was more exciting than this dvd which is still good yet not exceptional!
