    A good item, but be warned

    I like this axle back system. Great sound, and looks much better then stock muffler. But black coating was coming off before it was even on the jeep. Also they supply a clip to secure muffler hanger, but it is not secure at all. Over all I'm happy, but I suspect the system will not stand the test of time.

    Sounds great, but poor quality finish and welds.

    Sounds great but horrible “ceramic” finish. Coming off tip when I opened the box and it was even wrapped in bubble wrap. One of the tips, the spot welds broke from the clamp system, so to be able to use the vehicle, I had to drill through the tip and rivet it at two points to the tailpipe. These tips are $75 each ... ridiculous for the quality. The muffler does sound good though. I recommend it for that alone, NOT THE FINISH QUALITY. Luckily I bought it on sale, but I’ll probably have to fork out the $75 for another tip.

    The droning is unbearable !

    The muffler looks great and the fit and finish are decent but the drone this thing produces is just unacceptable. I understand this is a offroad muffler but for street use the drone overcame me within the first week and I removed the muffler. The sounds it produces sounds like an import but I could deal with that aspect just not the droning. Contacted flowmaster and they suggested installing a resonator but I'm just going to go with a different system.

    Flow master outlaw muffler

    Overall it’s a like muffler. The tips on the end of the muffler don’t fit, they are to big ended up welding them on. Muffler sounds a little rappy when you get started then it smooths out and sounds good. Nice deep sound at ideal.

    Best sounding flow-master muffler.

    I didn’t have a muffler on my Jeep when I bought it. It sounded ok, but still lacked an aggressive sound that I was looking for. So I bought the flow master and wow! What a difference in sound. Had the sound I was looking for. I didn’t sound like I had a v6 motor, but more like an 8 cylinder engine. If you’re thinking of getting one of these, you won’t be disappointed.
