NCAA 12 is a reminder of what football games used to be. Gameplay is smooth and fun, and you never feel robbed even if you lose. The Road to Glory and Dynasty modes are both immersive and feature-packed. The recruiting system is better than NCAA 14's, as you as a recruiter actually speak with high school athletes and gauge their interest in various parts of your program. The coaching carousel is also well made, and allows you to work your way up to the Offensive Coordinator of some backwoods school to the Head Coach of a Power 5 team. Graphics still look pretty good, even for today. Nothing super eye-popping but definitely very solid, and some of the animations even look better than today's Madden games. Over all, I love this game, and would highly recommend.

i bought this product because the game has always been a favorite and the thrill of college football still excites me. the game keeps getting better and will continue to get better. don't like how they keep changing the kicking set ups. even though its easy to adapt, just would like them to pick one way and stick with it. also am still not a big fan of the auto-sprint. game i feel is better than madden, and we all know how many people like madden. overal game is more and more solid every year. must buy...eh but a fun buy.
The game by itself is very good if you enjoy football games. It is also great for online play. But...Dynasty Mode and Path to Glory still leave much to be desired. Dynasty Mode would be great if they could reduce the load times significantly. In any given season, you probably spend 20 minutes or more total, just simming week to week. Path to Glory could still use some improvements, and Console freezing runs rampant in this game.
Rented this game several times before I bought it here on Ebay. Love NCAA Football for real and this game is pretty close to the real deal. We have to be realistic, getting games to be as real as possible is hard but this game is dang near close. The new upgrades to stadiums, grass/turf, players, the integrated ESPN presentation makes it really feel like I'm watching a game on ESPN. The specialized team intros are a great upgrade seeing how teams actually come out to the field adds to the "real-life experience". The upgrades to defense to me have shown. LB's & Secondary playing zone and picking up crossing routes and men have been really good in my experience. Throwing deep cross routes or into zones has been a bit more of a challenge this year then in the past (and I've played every year of NCAA Football). Another thing I LOVE about this year is being able to add and move teams in conferences. With all that has been going on off and on this season makes it awesome to be realistic to conference realignment. Its not just swapping teams like last year. Its about adding (not swapping)teams to whatever conference you like. Also being able to change for example EAST or WEST or LEADERS or LEGENDS you can change it to what you like. ALSO you can include or exclude bowl tie-ins. It's awesome for me and no offense to BIG EAST, but I can cut you out of a BCS bowl game. IF you like going the coaching route/dynasty, coaching carousel is a BLAST. Pick being an Offensive Coordinator or Defensive Coordinator and choose which school you want to coach at (controlling the O or D). You have certain goals to meet which increases your changes of staying, being fired or being offered a job elsewhere of course being on one side of the ball Offense or Defense your going to be getting calls about being that Coordinator not being an OC getting offered a DC (at least in my experience). You will get offered Head Coaching positions, makes sense. If you get this I recommend going to OperationSports.com (if I'm allowed to mention that) and look for getting NAMED PLAYERS and COACHES. All you do is upload a roster from someones gamertag and BAM you have player and coaches names. You can upload numerous files not just one so you can pick and choose whose you like although read the posts so you most likely know what your getting. If your thinking about skipping out on this year because that's your style of skipping every other year, it won't hurt to rent it. I think you'll like this better than '11.Read full review
It’s better than expected, I was a bit skeptical from the price but it turned out to be a great value.

Just as good if not a tad better than Ncaa 2011, it's definitely fun and doesn't have as many quirks as Ncaa 2013. Obviously the best of them all is Ncaa 2014 but for the money 2012 is worth getting it has easy game play and definitely is better than 2010 which almost seemed like a disaster through it's gameplay settings. But definitely a good buy! I recommend it.

Great Game! the Road to Glory and dynasty mode have both been updated with new challenges/opportunities. Very good game! I enjoy these games more than madden! Only con that I would could visibly see is that the game can be a bit slow through the menu screen. It takes a while to load and seems to be jittery, but does not take away from gameplay.
I bought this because my friend wanted to start an online dynasty. The last dynasty I played before this was NCAA 2008 which was Loads of Fun. This game here is just Bugs and Glitches galore.. Infinity amount of Holding and clipping calls even AFTER making big gains. Throwing flags on me getting tackled 15 yards away from an infraction countless times is stupid and annoying. Why are they even engaging in blocks after 15 yards away from the play. Where are the Facemasks, pass interferences, roughing the passer especially. Options have horrible simulation. Seems like every cornerback is Lebron James with soft hands. Why can't I get a pancake block? But the CPU can have a total of 25 pancake blocks in a single game, how is that realism lol. Once you get behind all that or even Used to it, it does get a big enjoyable. But, those bugs make me want to sell the game altogether. Where is 2k Sports when you need them..Read full review
A little confusing at first, but all games are. love it. Graphics are great and once you get to halftime of your first game, you know the ins and outs of the game. That doesn't mean that it isnt challenging though! Online is awesome and co-op is a hoot with friends. One of the best football or sports games in general. IMO better than Madden!
