Great game
People have said that this game is where the series started to dip, but I find this game as a sort of compilation of the older games. It has many maps from other Tony Hawk games as well as many new ones. Think of it as a greatest hits for the Tony Hawk maps. Tricks and controls are smoother than ever as well.

If you like the Tony Hawk series, this one will satisfy, but it doesn't break much new ground. As far as I can tell, the only difference in the game play is the addition of the "focus" feature, which allows you to go into slow-motion during a combo (if you've ever played the Max Payne series, you'll probably recognize it). The game also has an old-school "Classic" mode that works just like Tony Hawk 1 and 2--you have 2 minutes to accomplish a list of goals, instead of skating around and talking to people in order to get a goal. In the story mode, it does seem like there are more random goals that have little to do with skating.If you like the Tony Hawk series, this one will satisfy, but it doesn't break much new ground. This is one out of the two greatist game ever!
THE GAMEPLAY IS AWSOME! It is so fun to complete the goals. Tons of unlockibles! The graphics could have been better compared to Pro Skater 3. Story Mode is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Classic Mode is alot harder than Pro Skater 3 if you are planning on getting a Tony Hawk game but haven't played any others yet, then buy Underground 2 for it's difficulty and easy to master gameplay. The Gamecube version is way better than the others because of the controler setup wich is PERFECT! I can do insane combos because the Gamecube controler. The only things that could make this game any better would be four player support and special Gamecube exclusive characters (like in SSX On Tour and NBA Street V3).THE GAMEPLAY IS AWSOME! For anyone who likes a challenge. I am not a skateboarder but I love games that you have objectives to do. And this game is just that you can be many different pro skateboarders, You can make your own skateboarder (male and female), and there are a few celbrities as well, Jesse James is one. There are many challenges for differnt skill levels and specific challenges for differnt skateboarders. All around I feel a GREAT game.For anyone who likes a challenge. Tony Hawks Underground 2 Game Cube
This game is for the game cube system which is pretty outdated. It is for my 8 year old son. I didn't realize that it was a used game when I purchased it. The case is pretty shot but, I hope the game plays ok. Next time I know to look better because I only want to purchase brand new items.
