    It's alive!!!

    They called and said the cluster was worked on before, unbeknownst to me (I bought it used), and they struggled to fix it. Fix it they did, and it powers right up. They added a button where one was missing, and even fixed the speed gauge baseline stopper. I appreciate them working hard to repair it without charging extra, but work a little on keeping the customer in the loop so I'm not left wondering what's happening. You might get the impatient sort.

    Clear the faults

    Clear the faults would make this a better product, better value. I had to pay extra money to clear the SRS fault caused by the short I had the DIM sent in to fix.

    Fast Repair of DIM Module

    My 2008 Volvo S60 was showing a SRS message on the DIM (Driver Information Module) air bag requires immediate attention.. The local Volvo Dealer price to replace was very high. I researched repair of the DIM and found that my Model year could be repaired. I bought a scanner that was specific for Volvo,s and could reset the error codes. Also picked up a Torx screw driver with magnetic head to remove screws holding the DIM in the dash. Followed the very helpful video on how to remove and replace DIM from the dash. Start to finish took me about 6 days from sending out to reinstalling. Do start this process by reading the scanner codes and writing them down and sending them with the DIM for repair. This gives the Repair Tech a heads up. I also took the optional Allstate Insurance for ...

    Outstanding !!

    Turn around time from the west coast was 1 week! This is awesome since shipping each way was at least 2 days. DIM worked perfectly when I plugged it in. They even replaced all the bulbs while they rebuilt the circuit board. I have 5 Volvos and will definitely keep European Electrics number on hand.
